I provide business development services, set up your operation in Cenral European markets from my dual base of Austria and Hungary, coordinate re-location, build distribution networks and manage them or audit your regional suppliers.

I add my local knowledge by offering my skills, abilities, experiences gained through 20 years of cross-cultural & cross border management in Central Europe, 12 years of P&L responsibility as a CEO in 4 countries with full P&L responsibility, 10 years of business development / sales and 4 years of interim management in various industries!

Educated in the UK (MBA), I have

  • Built up a network of highly recognised local sales / marketing / customer service offices in CEE, generated constant profits 5-35% above shareholder expectations / targets per annum;
  • profitably developed the market for world class airlines suppliers in multiple countries in C&SE Europe,
  • built up and managed the distribution channels (690 B2B sales points), and achieved a consolidated partner sales revenue of EUR 24 mi. in 2011;
  • achieved successfull brand management of the 14 sub-brands of Marriott International into 14 countries in CEE and achieved 5-26% increase of room-nights p.a, managed 19 multinational corporate accounts (B2C) and led the team of Outbound Sales Managers;
  • crafted the strategic plan “Market Entry to the Americas” for the patent owner of a “plastic to oil” technology to achieve a revenue of USD 400 mi, in 3 years. The excercise was facilitated by INTLFCStone (Miami Office).
  • secured the signing a MoU for the sale of 2 “plastic to oil” plants for EUR 9.5 mi with a Dutch client;
  • turned a company around in 1,5 years, which had been generating loss for 3 consecutive previous years
  • completed a change management project in which the company achieved "Best Travel Services 2014" Award - just 18 month after the re-branding commenced

I am flexible, quick to adapt and available for assignments requiring extensive travel, client contact at various levels, where my soft skills (communication, motivation, leadership) matters. My dynamism and positive approach energises even the demotivated teams, which I can get to focus on the objectives set and tangible results to be delivered.
