Business control aiming at improving profitability and managing risks

Definition and implementation of a performance management system based on consistent management reporting and business reviews.

Revamping of project controlling starting with the set-up of an integrated PMO, training of project managers and the organization of systematic project reviews.

Cost cutting initiatives in facilities, fleet management and staffing for 10% saving.

Tax planning and transfer pricing optimization to absorb 5M€ of tax losses available in the group.

Repayment of 10M€ of debt and successful refinancing of the remaining 25M€ with senior and commercial finance credit facilities.

In charge of HR and IT ad interim.

Successful divestment to refinance private equity partners.


Budget & Control manager

Reporting to the F&A Director and leading a team of 4 business controllers, responsibilities include Budgeting and Planning, management reporting as well as support to system & process improvements.

Achievements include:

Revamp of project controlling with monthly project reviews with Operations.

Development of a forecasting model supported by SAP Business Warehouse.

Design of a SOX compliant internal control.

Business Development in Portugal with a business case supporting the funding of 1.5M€ from local equity partners.

Incorporation of a PSF compliant subsidiary in Luxemburg.

Owner of the dataroom and due diligence in light of the disposal of a subsidiary in Luxemburg.
